What you will do:
• Join calls, connect with clients, and organize and support meetings with the goal of supporting efforts to track opportunities in all Account Executive (AE) regions, staying abreast of developments in all areas of the public sector business
• Lead development and billing efforts in our forecaster states to start (Utah, Texas and Oklahoma) with an eye to develop new clients, where possible
• Support tracking work in our Independent AFIX states (New Jersey, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota) and work with the internal AFIX team, under the leadership of the VP, to focus on new business
• Work especially closely with the Sr. AE to gain knowledge of the AE functions
• Support AE's and Public Sector team's efforts to manage projects and contracts
• Support Public Sector efforts, as directed, to build new connections and contacts in new markets – particularly through in-person meetings
• Work with the Public Sector team to ensure a seamless approach to current and potential clients
• Help foster current client relationships and act as a liaison between AE's and internal staff in a positive and productive manner while supporting outreach efforts to external organizations
• Support AE's in their monthly project accounting – invoicing schedules, revenue recognition, general reporting on contract status and metrics
• Support efforts to deliver contracted activities on-time and on-budget
• Work with the Public Sector team on requirements gathering, track requested changes and coordinate resources with appropriate line managers
• Serve, when needed, as a member of the STC's Public Health Practice Group – an ad hoc team of public health experts comprised of staff from across the company that is "stood up" to investigate key public health topics as needs arise
• Respond to RFP's, explore new opportunities, and track changes in the market

Who you are:
• You have at least five years' of experience coordinating or managing projects or public health program management
• You are a creative and clear technical writer who has an MPH, MBA, or solid Public Health Experience
• You have some background with state, local or federal government, including an understanding of government grants and contracts
• You have a passion for public health and the application of technology to support business processes and health outcomes
• You have exceptionally strong people skills and the ability to work in a positive and supportive way with a variety of personalities while always maintaining a professional demeanor
• You are a self-motivated high achiever able to work independently and takes the initiative to advance areas without prompting
• You have an exceptional ability to organize and coordinate numerous projects simultaneously
• You are resourceful and able to learn independently through self-guided exploration
• You have a desire to work hard and be recognized for high quality project performance
• You have the ability to reflect on mistakes and constructive criticism as a launch pad towards excellence, and the confidence to supportively encourage others to improve
• You are bursting with innovative ideas to improve products and processes to advance public health solutions in a team environment
• If you have a solid list of contacts in the field of public health, that's a big plus

Our Location:
STC's office is located in Scottsdale, but in January 2018 STC's headquarters is moving to our own building in the Warehouse District.
