Join the fight at the front lines – as a UX Architect you will be responsible for the developing and implementing innovative solutions for product direction, user interface and user experience for projects and products, using your tool box of UI/UX design skills, to ensure the world is rid of preventable diseases. You will be a key team member in the building of intelligence solutions for a healthier future - for you, your family and our global community.

What you will do:
 Create presentation-layer architectural standards that optimize user, page, and interaction performance.
 Create leading-edge proof-of-concept design solutions, new web-based interactivity, cross-platform solutions, templates and component libraries, and internal interactive tools
 Be the voice of UX and heavily influence design within the company.
 Hands-on design, including developing concepts, wireframes and prototypes.
 Incorporate business requirements into product design and workflows to create clean, intuitive and innovative user interfaces.
 Conceptualize original ideas to create easy-to-use and visually-pleasing product designs.
 Conduct usability testing, user research and evaluate user feedback to gather insights into user behavior to identify their unspoken and unmet needs.
 Be a user-advocate
 Work with the Product Management team on the product roadmaps and ensure design approach aligns with corporate strategy and vision.
 Collaborate with Development to hand off designs and style specifications for implementation and maintenance.
 Promote continuous improvement and engage in our culture of innovation.

Who you are:
 You have demonstrable UX and design experience
 You are knowledgeable about current UX best practices and design processes
 You understand of how your designs come to life though code
 You have experience with InVision or other design prototyping tool
 You can establish credibility and rapport with technical team members
 You can communicate design ideas with both technical and non-technical audiences.
 You are confident with experimenting and are driven to get things done quickly in order to learn from initial designs and iterate for the best result.
 You have an inherent understanding of how little things in design can have a large impact.
 You enjoy bringing out your "tech savvy" side and working with a multi-disciplinary team

Education and Experience:
 University degree or college diploma in design, human behavior or a related field is a plus
 At least 7 years' experience in user experience design for software development projects
 Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
 Experience in the healthcare industry and agile software development is a plus

STC's office is located in Scottsdale, but in January 2018 STC's headquarters is moving to our own building in the Warehouse District.
